New Magento user here, using version 2. Had a question on categories and merchandising.
I have a few levels of categories on my website for example I will use:

- Womens

        - Clothing

              - Tops

              - Pants

        - Shoes

              - Pumps

        - Accesories    

So the lower levels, like Tops and Pants, display products that you can drag and drop to customize layouts. But the higher levels do not have this function and are very limited on customizing how products show up in there categories.

Is there any way to customize top level categories?

Is there any way to customize top level categories?
